Lake Marie: Many anglers consider this 480-acre lake the top fishing spot on the "Chain." Though the lake averages and six feet in most areas, Pistakee Bay drops off to a depth of over 30-feet. Coastal Angler Magazine and our interior (freshwater) publication, The Angler Magazine, are monthly editions dedicated to fishing, boating, and outdoor enthusiasts. It has a sand bottom and good clarity, averaging about 14-feet deep, with drops going to 35-feet. Due to COVID-19, some recreation areas may still be closed or have limited facilities. Crappie – fish open water; trolling, or at night with lights are your best bets. Grass Lake: The shallowest lake on the "Chain," Grass Lake averages 3-feet, this 1,360-acre lake is also a popular waterfowling spot. Located within Chain Lakes Provincial Park, this reservoir provides fabulous fishing opportunities for numerous species of trout: rainbow, brook, bull, and cutthroat. The Fox River empties into Grass Lake and despite its depth, good fishing is found there because of the aquatic vegetation. As well as Largemouth and White Bass, Crappies, Bluegills, Channel Cat, Bullheads, Carp, and Yellow Perch. There are approximately 10 launching rams on the lake, and they are located on the northeast and southwest sides.

Chain Lakes is a series of three lakes located in the south east corner of Yosemite. Shiners fished right against the hydrilla works best. There are about a dozen launch ramps on the lake, most of them on the southwest side where the lake joins Nippersink Lake and along the south shore. Chain O'Lakes Fishing. Lake Bluff: Located south of Lake Marie, this 86-acre lake is good shoreline fishing. Fox Lake: Most of the fishing is concentrated around the three large bays (Mineola, Stanton, and Columbia) of this 1,700-acre lake.
Good walleye, white bass, and channel catfish populations are found there. The water levels are up for the winter. Nippersink Lake: Nippersink and Fox Lakes often are considered one and the same since they join.
Lake Catherine: Consisting of 155 acres with an average depth of 45-feet, this lake located two miles west of Antioch is the "sister" to the larger Channel Lake, directly connected to it.
