Getting surprised by a foe coming out of stealth is something you should be prepared for in WvW, especially when not moving.

Still, Condirev, Condithief, Condisoulbeast, Condiengi and Condiscourge could provide it. I haven't tested it but grieving doesn't look promising for engi in the current state. The rev buff is something we discussed more.
It's also highly likely to be raid viable, so Engis will get to play at endgame with a new playstyle. Are there aspects to the elite that I'm not noticing? Blind: CPS, Druid. It's like playing a glass cannon in an active volcano.
