I have both pack in my hand right now and I am carefully and very precisely mentally breaking down the tastes of the two. Never heard of Maltesers - so gotta go with Whoppers . We have Maltesers everywhere in my area (Hershey/Palmyra PA). The malt won't fully liquify in your mouth cause the malt is courser. Whoppers are a standard Hallowe’en candy around here. There are maltier too. and for me I choose and believe Whoppers are better and my little random score calculation backs it up lol.
Found Target carries them now. Now it would be nice to go into detail what distinctive qualities each chocolate has from each other but the truth of the matter is, there is no real difference between the 2. Whoppers are lighter (shittier) american style milk chocolate, their malt center is more 'delicate'.

You can get them (maltesers) in the foreign foods section of most supermarkets in a decent sized city. Whoppers are lighter (shittier) american style milk chocolate, their malt center is more 'delicate'.

Maltesers have a more bold chocolate taste and the whoppers are a more subtle mix of the two. And they are near identical. Maltesers are denser.
Their website says in stock for $1.39 for a theater box. We've tried malt balls when we're in Florida and they're not in the same league as Maltesers. Whoppers (Hershey) are the closest equivalent I can think of although they were introduced later. The overall part is just straight up the after taste. So to figure out "whose cuisine reigns supreme" I am gonna get all Iron Chef and grade the 2 chocolates in three categories: Taste, Crunchiness, and Overall (How well the chocolate works with itself).
