Muir Lake from the old Cottonwood Trailhead is a 22.4 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Lone Pine, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate.
Before the winter kill i seen some pretty nice trout come out of it.

A small boat would be best for Muir lake since it doesn't have very good shore fishing. Marie Lake. I highly recommend Carl to anyone thinking of doing a fishing trip over there.
