I'm losing 5.7%/hr with the screen off and my average charge rate is about 520mAh while using brand new 18W PD chargers and USB C-C cables. Have to reset the stats again and hope it fixes it, again. Estimated 10 hours left on 73% which doesn't seem right at all! A sweet, feature-filled launcher with a beautiful UX. I'll go to bed with a full 100% charge, then wake up to maybe 45-50% battery life. Used to be 0.5%/hr. I see <= 1%/hour of drain overnight and about the same if I hit doze when leaving it on my desk at work.
Basically it's been just over 3 months now and it hasn't improved.

If you have any troubleshooting tips, great, but I feel at this point I've just about exhausted the options. They offered a refurb for replacement but warned that I'd probably have the same problem, because such is life with this phone and battery. Have any system apps updated recently? I also have my emails set to sync every 30mins rather than push. Eventually it shut down. If try it without the charger and cable, it does nothing, wont even reboot. I've tried to use it numerous times but I feel like it's a little non-user friendly. I uninstalled it it see if it helped and it did. To give you an idea, when I first got the device I would charge like any other device I've had previously - keep topping up between say 40% and 80% and repeat (I've read this is most healthy for the battery). No one has to do it if they dont want to, im just sharing. I've cleaned my USB port with alcohol and soft pick and tried multiple chargers. With the pixel line, I had never been so happy with battery, specially pixel 2 xl. Factory reset. I ran the battery down to 0. I then put it on the charger and let it come back up to 100% while the phone was off. What is rationale behind your spells? June 24 by Everyone is having this issue now.
