The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards – Colette Baron Reid.
The overall message of this card is one of self empowerment by re-evaluating your past to set yourself free, it is the realisation that you are the shaman or wise woman of your own life, that whilst your the prisoner of your beliefs, you are also the prison and more importantly the jailor who can set yourself free.
This week I am reading using the oracle cards from “The Enchanted Map” by Colette Baron-Reid. Card 20: Flying displays a fantastical influence. This 54 card deck comes in a beautifully illustrated and sturdy box which contains the oracle card deck and accompanying guide book. Cards are numbered at the top in white.

The deck has an ethereal, dream like quality which is irresistible but does lack an overarching theme and an obvious ordered logical progression which, initially, I did find to be strange given the word map in the very title of the deck. I know this has already been a lengthy review however there is just so much to commend this deck and I would highly recommend the deck with the caveat that this a deck that requires study and familiarity more than most decks I have encountered, therefore the work involved in studying this deck should be factored in to your purchasing decision.
